Story
The movie begins in the early 1970s in the Indian state of West Bengal when the Naxalite movement was at its peak level to overthrow the ruling state government. Arpita was a college student deeply involved in the movement; she saw violence and bloodshed, but she was against the cause.
As the story moves forward, the political conditions in West Bengal are becoming imbalanced. This Naxalite movement created internal division and a breakdown of government due to this Arpita’s personal life also got affected as their family came into the conflict.
The diary describes Arpita’s events, where she writes about her fears, hopes, and doubts about increasing the Naxalite movement to rent, but as time passes, the violence slightly decreases and becomes peaceful.
