The Beekeeper is a 2024 English-language American action and thriller movie with a 6.4/10 iMDb and 4.2/5 audience rating. The movie is directed by David Ayer, produced by Jason Statham and Kurt Wimmer, and written by Gabriel Beristain.
The movie stars Jason Statham as Adam Clay, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Agent Verona Parker, Bobby Naderi as Agent Matt Wiley, Josh Hutcherson as Derek Danforth, etc.
Story
The movie starts with an American beekeeper named Adam, who used to collect honeybees. One day, Adam beehives honeybees from an old lady’s (his neighbor’s) fields. The old lady was running a charity on the same day the Matt team hacked her laptop and stole all her money. Then she committed suicide. When Adam came to give honeybees to the old lady, her daughter Emma (a police officer) caught him. Through her friends, Emma knows that Adam didn’t kill her mother. Her mother committed suicide due to fraud with money.
Later, Adam investigated the fraud company and blasted their building. When Matt (the head of Froud) learned about the incident, he sent a man to kill Adam, but he killed everyone. After this, Matt, the security officer, informed her mother (the president of the USA), but she said to do it ourselves, so the security officer gave her to a good killer, Lady, but Adam also killed her.
While killing all humans, Adam used to cut their fingers and open a factory by fingerprint because he was investigating how many companies were associated with Oma.
Matt’s friend, who was a senior at the second company of Oma, was teaching people how to scam. Adam came there, destroyed everything, and asked him about the leader of the scam. He showed Matt a photo. Then Emma comes, Adam hides himself and says he is responsible for your mother’s death, and he escapes from there.
After this, Adam went to the White House to kill Matt and his mother. Emm knows everything, so he increases her security to catch Adam. Emma saw and caught him. Then an FBI officer ever said something to Matt’s mother (president). Her mother was not happy with his work, and the debate started when Matt killed an FBI officer. Adam comes inside after beating them, who catch him. After this, he kills Matt and escapes from there.
Review
The movie shows a simple beekeeper taking revenge on the $2 million-dollar scam of an old lady from the USA’s president’s son.
The action scene and climax in the movie are outstanding. The actor shown in the movie is like a superhuman who can defeat many officers within a second without any injury.
Director David Ayer directs it where he most focuses on Jason Statham, especially his fight, which engages you to watch the movie till the end.
