Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is a 2024 American English-language action and adventure movie with a 7.7/10 IMDb and a 4/5 audience rating. The movie is directed by George Miller and produced by Doug Mitchell and George Miller. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa, Chris Hemsworth as Dementus, Tom Burke as Praetorian Jack, and many more.
Story
The movie starts with a green place (the only place where greenery is present in the earth; the rest of the earth has no water or food and is covered with sand), where two girls picking an apple, one of them named Furiosa, notice that some strangers (bandits) have arrived with a bullet bike to eat.
Furiosa starts cutting the oil pipes on all the bikes, but a bandit catches her and takes her with him. She informed her mother by the whistle. Her mother kills all the bandits, except one, who takes Furiosa to his leader, Dementus.
Without water or food, people kill each other for their benefit. Bandits tell Dementus about a green place with abundant food and water. Furiosa’s mother kills a benefit who knows the location of a green place, so Dementus kills her mother. No one knows the green place’s location So, Dementus asks Furiosa, but she doesn’t say anything.
One day, Dementus sells Furiosa to another bandit leader for food and fuel. Furiosa stayed with them as a boy for many years. But one day, a young truck driver knows she is a girl, and she falls in love with him. She tells him about Green Place.
According to plan, they are about to escape. Dementus catches both of them, hangs and kills her lover, and while all are enjoying his death, Furiosa cuts her hand and escapes.
The other bandit leader saves her, and she tells him everything about Dementus plans against him. So Furiosa and the bandit leader fight against Dementus and kill him.
Review
The story revolves around Furiosa, who is kidnapped by Dementus people from a green place, so she wants to take revenge for her mother’s death and escape from the place.
The set design and costume designs were very practical, and a few VFX made it amazing and showed the art of filmmaking in action.
The best role was played by Chris Hemsworth as the villain, which was loud, not only in the dialogue but also in his appearance, and Anya Taylor-Joy also played his role very well.
Overall, the movie is very good for action sequence lovers and Dementus characters, which makes it fantastic, but the movie is with adults, so you can’t enjoy it with your family.
