Story of Munjya Movie
The movie begins with a boy named Gotiya (Munjya) from a small village who says he wants to marry a girl named Muni, who is six years older than him and is already engaged. To cancel Muni’s marriage, Gotiya mixes rat poison in the food of the man Muni is committed to, so his mother beats him, and her mother forcefully shaves his head. To see Muni’s wedding, Gotiya becomes very angry.
Gotiya holds his sister’s hand and takes her towards a forest, speaking black magic to get Muni. He secretly comes back and tries to cut her neck. However, she grabs his hand, accidentally making Gotiya fall and die, and his ashes dig into the same tree where he died.
After a few years, a boy named Bittu arrives in the village of Munjya with his family. After hearing some remarks from his uncle, Bittu went to the Munjya tree and was captured by Munjya, but her grandmother saved him.
Bittu returned home, but Munjya went with him, fearing him and blackmailing him to search Muni; otherwise, he would kill his mother. When he searches for Muni, Munjya refuses to bring Muni and demands Bittu’s girlfriend (the Muni grandmother). Bittu and his girlfriend agree to do this with the help of a magician.
When they went to the village, Bittu gave alcohol to his girlfriend and took her to the Munjya tree, but while killing Munjya, he went to the body of his girlfriend and then transferred to Ballu’s body. After this, Bittu brought a stick, from which Munjya feared Bittu cleverly fought with Munjya and burned him along with the tree.
Review
The movie is about Gotiya, who wants to marry Muni, but she marries another to get him back. He was doing black magic, but he accidentally died and became Munjya. After a few years, he forces Bittu to bring Muni (the granddaughter) back, and in the end, he is killed by Bittu.
The movie makers want to show something different, so the movie is not full of ghosts and much horror, as it shows how to become a ghost. It seems like a comedy movie that makes you laugh, even though children don’t fear it.
The sound, set design, and location of the movie are very good, and the character of Munjya is fully animated with a limited budget.
Brahmarakshas and black magic were picked from the story and put into real life, which is good. The forest and trees seen were good, and the acting of Abhay was very good.
