Yodha is a 2024 Hindi language action and thriller movie with 5.7/10 iMDb and 4.4/5 audience rating. Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha direct the film. The movie stars are Sidharth Malhotra as Arun Katyal, Raashi Khanna as Priyamvada (Priya) Katyal; Disha Patani as Laila.
Story
The movie starts with Arun’s father, Surendra Katyal. He started the Yodha task force, but he died on a mission, so Arun also wants to be a part of the Yodha task force. After a few years, he became a good Yoddha officer. There are three members in the Arun family: her mother, her wife (Priya), and Arun itself. Priya is an additional security guard in the PM office.
In Amritsar, planes were hijacked by Luxor people; unfortunately, Arun was present. Priya negotiated with Arun not to do anything. Hijackers demand the release of three terrorists. The plan wasn’t going according to Arun, so a fight started between the hijackers and Arun. Arun was thrown outside by a hijacker, and an airplane was taken off by the terrorists. After this incident, a Yodha special task force was banned by the Indian government.
After one year, Arun was going to Dubai from Delhi Airport, and he became Air Commander. But someone texted him that the plan changed and he would come to London and get a body pass, so he thought something was happening. She was looking at everyone as a suspect, and there was an air hostess, Laila. He talks to the control room about this, but no one believes him, and people think that the plane was hijacked by Arun.
The main hijackers in the plane were Jalal man-pilot and air hostess Laila ( Disha Patani), who was with Arun before, she reveals that when an airplane comes into contact with land, it gets a blast because sulfur gas was released inside the plane. Arun beat all of these, released almost all the sulfur gas outside the airplane, and landed it safely.
In Islamabad, a peace summit was held by the prime ministers of India and Pakistan. Terrorists want to blast an airplane at the Pakistani Masjid, where the prime minister of Pakistan and a large crowd get together. Terrorists disagree with the summit; that’s why they want to do this. Arun came from an airplane and saved everyone from Jalal. To see this Indian government restarted the Yodha Special Task Force.
